January Golf - 1/7/12 thru 1/11/12

A rare occurance happended from January 7th through January 11th.  Golf was played in the state if Michigan, REAL golf, not wet snowy and lousy weather golf.  It felt more like mid-April than mid-January as temperature approached 50 dergrees.  Over 400 golfers visited Thornapple Pointe on the five days, and most came and went with a smile on their face as they got to use golf clubs instead of shovels.

4:30 pm A celebratory cocktail or two, and a few tales of the round as the day slips away.
The day comes to a close

It really was an amazing site, and a first for Thornapple Pointe in its' sixteen years of exsistance.  We did open once before for a day in January back in 2005, but nothing like this run of golf we just experienced.

Thanks to everyone who came out and took advantage of the weather, we really appreciate you choosing Thornapple Pointe.
